Description

Darkest, most consistently deep pink new kousa introduction from Rutgers University. Flowers hold up well in summer heat over a long bloom period. Floriferous, moderately vigorous tree with clean disease-resistant foliage. Non-overlapping pointed bracts. New growth is tinged purple, becoming dark green and finally red in autumn.
