Every year at this time there are great looking B&B plants that are left on the dock. To make it easy, there is a separate tab at the bottom of the excel page to look at just the B&B Above Ground List. Take time to look at the container list. They have their own tab at the bottom also. There has been a lot of different varieties added this past week.
We are adding more container plants every day including Buxus Green Velvet #3 and #5. Now that we are past the harvest rush, our turn around time is a few days for containers, including B&B Taxus and Thuja.
Evergreen buds are tight and we still have a wide selection on our availability. We also have a great selection of container plants that are outstanding. Perennials are jumping up and the shrubs are growing strong. Your sales representative can help you find what fits your needs and let you know what will be ready soon.
We are busy loading trucks. Our great crew loaded 13 semi-trailers today as well as all the ‘Will-Call’ customers who stopped in. Viburnum dil. Cardinal Candy™ is hardier than the species, has abundant white flowers followed by persistent scarlet red shiny fruit. Viburnum n. Brandywine™ has glossy green leaves that turns dark maroon in the fall. The spectacular fruit transforms from green to ivory to vivid pinks and blue.
Hydrangea pan. ‘Limelight’ is popular because of its phenomenal flower display. It can be used as a stand-alone plant and makes a spectacular flowering hedge.
Hydrangea pan. Quick Fire® is known for its early flower display blooming two weeks before any other paniculata. It turns pink before Pink Diamond starts to bloom. Hydrangea pan. Pinky Winky® has two tone flower heads in mid-summer. The flowers emerge white and turn pink while continuing to push white florets from the tip of the panicle.
We have great looking Blue Holly #3 & #10 at a very good size making them an excellent value.
Syringa m. Palibin #5, #7, and #10, and Aronia melanocarpa #5 and #7 are budded heavy, very full and ready to bloom.
Vaccinium are full of flower buds and will soon be full of fruit making them a sure quick sell. And we have great looking evergreen containers that have lost the winter color and look like spring!
Azalea m. Cornell Pink is a deciduous azalea with very clear pink blooms. They are spectacular in the sun and are still vibrant even on cloudy days. Our container Rhododendron look great and are budded and ready to bloom.
We dig some of our Rhododendron in the fall and put them into poly-houses to keep them from getting windburn. The buds are all plump and viable meaning they will put on a beautiful show where ever they land.
Pieris is an old school plant that has some very nice cultivars. Katsura has rose pink flowers. When the flowers are gone the wine red new growth continues to show off this compact plant. Cavatine’s white flowers are very abundant on a dwarf plant that only reaches 2’ -3’.
Valley Forge, Jefferson and Princeton American Elms can be used on homeowner, municipal and commercial sites. They are highly resistant to Dutch Elm Disease and adaptable to many soil types while tolerating different soil moisture levels.
Frontier and Emerald Sunshine Elms have rich glossy green leaves. Frontier is unique because it is the only elm with a rich burgundy fall color.
Both are resistant to Dutch Elm Disease, are heat and drought tolerant. These are tough, adaptable shade trees.
Our container plants are looking great! Azaleas are rich green and heavily budded. Junipers are full and have the WOW factor. The rest of our containers are just as nice. Check the availability to see what you need for your customers. We still have a very good selection available.

We are digging and pulling cans for shipment next week. If you don’t have a delivery or will call date to us yet, please do so right away. We want to take care of you the best we can. The customers with dates on their order will have priority on the harvest reports because we know their needs and are trying to fulfill their requests.
