Beauty and Function Posted on February 4, 2021 at 5:00 pm.Written by Losely Admin One of our local customers planted a 200’ Hamamelis hedge and the homeowner loved it! It was dense, looked good all summer and bloomed. Hamamelis x intermedia ‘Arnold’s Promise’ has yellow flowers and ‘Diane’ has red flowers that start blooming in late winter and are the first plants to bloom. Their sweet fragrance is a wonderful addition to any landscape. Hamamelis virginiana blooms in late fall and vernalis in very early spring. Both natives bloom yellow and are fragrant also.
